Pink Seat Covers
Basic Principles of Color Design for Seat Cover
Conform to aesthetic principles
The so-called aesthetic principles mainly include: balance and stability, unity and change, harmony and contrast, rhythm and rhyme, subordination and emphasis, transition and echo, analogy and association, etc. These aesthetic principles apply to the color design of automobiles and must be applied flexibly.
1) Balance and stability. Balance refers to the balance between the front and the left, and stability means the balance between the top and bottom. The color design of seat cover should pay attention to the balance of color matching, which mainly refers to the balance of sensation and vision. In the design of seat cover color, according to the weight, virtual reality, size and thickness of color, there are generally the following configurations: upper light, lower soft and hard, upper shallow and lower deep, upper small and lower large (area). The upper part is striking, the lower part is steady. For the balance of left and right, the color design of the seat cover is mainly symmetrical. For the sake of visual balance, in interior color design, we should reasonably apply horizontal decorative lines, carefully use vertical decorative lines, and weaken vertical lines or surfaces. Because the vertical line or surface is easy to cause the effect of splitting, resulting in the overall visual confusion.
2) Unity and change. The unity and change of color allocation of seat cover refers to the unity and change of the three elements of color, hue and brightness. We should seek unity in change and change in unity. The unity is the main purpose, which is the overall coordination, and the change is the key point, whose purpose is to be vivid.
In order to achieve unity in change, we should deal with harmony relations, subordinate relations and echo relations; in order to achieve change in unity, we should deal with contrast relations, rhythm relations and key relations.
Responding relationship is one of the important means to achieve color balance, and it is also a measure to seek unity in change. For example, group C cover plate, door glass switch panel and central console control panel are generally made into contrast or highlight of the main tone, but there should be a corresponding relationship between them so that they can be unified in change and become the main color and the finishing touch.
The unity of color design of seat cover is mainly the overall harmony of color. The sense of integrity is an important factor of formal beauty. The color of seat cover must have a main tone. The rest of the colors should be adjusted around this main tone, so that the main tone will not be split and confused.
According to the main tone, different color matching methods are chosen to get different overall tones. The effects are as follows: the same color system is easy to be unified, warm color is warm, cold color is quiet. Warm color and high purity color are mainly used to stimulate people; cold color and low purity color are mainly used to make people feel calm. High brightness color as the main color, it is bright and light. Low brightness as the main color, it is dark and solemn. It is lovely with colors with contrast and high brightness, and is robust with similar color. It is lively with more color while cold with less.
In order to make the interior color lively, we can make some appropriate changes in color without destroying its overall effect, such as using contrast color locally, but using strong contrast and big change turning color. We should pay attention to the balance of color gamut and the parts used, so as not to destroy the overall sense of seat cover color.
3) Proportion and scale. Proportion is an important rule of evaluating formal beauty with the concept of quantity, which refers to the relationship between the whole and the part, between the part and the part. Scale refers to the size relationship between the whole or part and the common standards.
In color design, the proportion and scale of each color block should be considered, and the inappropriate color block area should be segmented to make it coordinate with the whole. Large areas of color will be too quiet or too stimulating, using color blocks or ribbons to divide it proportionally, which can get both change and proportionally coordinated beauty.
At present, many seat covers adopt two-color interiors, which are divided into upper and lower parts from the waistline. In fact, it is a kind of proportional segmentation. The upper and lower parts adopt different colors, which can achieve both overall coordination and non-monotonous color effect. In addition, in the middle part of the door guard board with different colors from the main tone, in the dashboard (or door guard board) with long strips of decorative strips (imitation of peach or metal strips), in fact, are a color segmentation effect, which can avoid large areas of color too monotonous.
4) Color matching must highlight the key points. In order to make up for the monotony of tone, some local color can be emphasized as a key point, so that the whole can reach a sense of activity. In the overall color matching, it is relatively soft and timely, so it is necessary to highlight the key points. The following methods can be used: the key point should choose the color with strong tone; the key point should choose the contrast color of the overall tone; the key color should be used in a smaller area; and the balance effect of the key color matching should be considered in the selection of the key color.
In seat cover, such as group C cover, armrest, door glass switch panel and inner open handle, generally use different colors from the main tone, in order to make these functional parts eye-catching and highlighted.
